As tecnoloxías da linguaxe nos ámbitos social e económico

Xa mañá terá lugar a conferencia anual da NPLD titulada “O Impacto das tecnoloxías da linguaxe nos ámbitos social e económico”. O relatorio principal versará sobre o Proxecto Nós, que impulsa a Xunta de Galicia e executa tecnicamente a Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (USC) co obxectivo de introducir de pleno a lingua galega no mundo da Intelixencia Artificial. A exposición estará a cargo de Senén Barro e Elisa Fernández Rei, director e directora do CiTIUS e do Instituto da Lingua Galega (ILG), respectivamente.

O broche de ouro a estes dous días de convivencia porao unha visita cultural por Padrón, que inclúe as Fundacións Camilo José Cela e Rosalía de Castro, e Cambados.

Promoción da diversidade lingüística

A NPLD é unha organización de ámbito europeo que nace no 2008 para impulsar a cooperación e o intercambio mutuo de experiencias entre os seus socios, favorecer a promoción da diversidade lingüística na Unión Europea e servir de grupo de presión en materia de política lingüística nas institucións europeas.

Na actualidade está composta por 39 membros entre os que se inclúen institucións académicas, organismos gobernamentais e colectivos sociais dedicados á promoción social, o estudo e o ensino de linguas minoritarias de Europa.
