La ciudad de A Coruña acoge el 27 de febrero el primer Festival de Arte e Integración (FAI) que pretender mostrar las propuestas artísticas que facilitan la integración social por parte de profesionales llegados de todos los puntos de España. Bajo el lema En un escenario todos somos artistas y se nos mira como tal: con los mismos esfuerzos, voluntades y sentimientos en la búsqueda de un objetivo común: el disfrute del público, el FAI pretende ser "un festival de la igualdad".

Compuesto por cuarto espectáculos, cuatro conferencias y cuatro videoproyecciones, el FAI representa un punto de inflexión en la labor de asociaciones como la ONCE, O Pelouro o 5S, que buscaron durante años una nueva forma de integrar "sin mirar condiciones o circunstancias" y ofreciendo las mismas oportunidades a todo el mundo", apuntó Carlota Pérez. De esta manera, disciplinas como el teatro, la música y la danza se unirán en un solo día para crear "una vía abierta y comunicadora" acerca de algunas iniciativas integradoras que se están realizando en España.

Así lo apuntó en rueda de prensa la directora de Experimentadanza y coordinadora del FAI, Carlota Pérez, quien afirmó que un escenario supone un "enlace" entre el artistas y el público con el que se consigue, en su opinión, "normalizar" la situación de personas que pueden encontrar "otra forma de comunicar". En esta misma línea, la directora gerente de EXPOCoruña, Ana Montes, se mostró "confiada" en que, a través de este proyecto, podrán acercar "determinado arte a todos los públicos".
